+THE FIRST WEEK OF MM+

The Millennials Magazine splash page has already been up for a week! Not that that's a very long time, but we're excited about it anyway. As a celebration of our super-early anniversary, we thought we'd share some stats with you. Our new website has seen:

1. Over 125 submissions for one-liner definitions!

2. Over 1000 visitors to the splash page!

3. And over 15,500 refreshes for new definitions!

We're feeling pretty good about that. What we're most excited about is getting so many submissions for definitions. You can still contribute- just click here, input your phrase, and maybe sign up for our newsletter. It doesn't take long, and we're hoping you'll give us your own opinions, jokes and snark.

Remember, our first issue drops in September. We're planning stories on post-racial fanfiction, adolescent internet embarrassment, life post-USA and post-2000s cultural nostalgia. Get in touch if you'd like to contribute! Our second issue will mark Winter 2010. We can be reached by email and you can follow us on Twitter.

Our mission is to create an open space for debate and depiction of what a millennial is or what a millennial might be. A collage, a survey, a study, call it what you will, we hope our site will provide a new idea of what constitutes a new generation.

<3 <3 <3,
MM
