Millennials Magazine is a millennial experiment. Created entirely through the Internet, we are hoping to give light to what shapes a generation, and what it means to be young today: what experiences we share, what troubles we face, and how we face them together. A generation totally versed in online communication, we are more interconnected than ever.
We want to provide an open forum for interested people to debate the definition of millennial, and hopefully amuse and engage others along the way. We are a quarterly online magazine with weekly (eventually, daily) updates. Because each feature requires art, editing, and coding, the production time spent to make the Magazine look good is considerable.
In order to make our magazine possible, we’re looking for sponsors who want to help us fund the project, fund our hosting, and fund payment for writers. We would like to work with one brand per issue that would like to be part of this attempt to use the Internet to represent a new generation. Whether through banner ads, event sponsorship, or print collaboration, we are open to those who are open to us. If you would like to help out, please e-mail Kyle Chayka at chaykak [at] gmail [dot] com.
In the first 3 months of its existence, Millennials Mag has received over 20,000 unique hits on our site and has been covered in major national press outlets including The Awl, Slate, SF Weekly and Canada’s National Post.
Thank you,
Kyle Chayka
